The European Recycling Platform S.A, Paris (ERP) is a pool of leading manufacturers of electronic and electrical equipment. Founding members of ERP are well known companies as Braun, Sony Europe, Electrolux and Hewlett Packard. It is the aim of ERP to offer a system which fulfills the regulations and obligations of the Directive to the members that are affected by the WEEE Directive. On behalf of ERP CCR so far organizes the collection and take back systems of waste of electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) in Germany, Austria, Poland and Italy. An online tendering process is being conducted for the service areas Recycling and Logistics in Germany, Austria, Italy and Poland. The following organizations are invited to participate:
- Operators of recycling facilities for WEEE
(WEEE category 1 to 10 according to WEEE Directive)
- Logistics Service Providers
(licensed to carry WEEE)
The tendering process for recycling services in the Austrian area has ended in the beginning of April, 2005. The tendering for logistics services in the Austrian area is envisioned to start on April 8th, 2005. The tender schedule for the remaining areas will be communicated on time on this web site. In order to participate, an online registration as a service provider is necessary.
The German ERP take back system has successfully started on 27.04.2006. Since the start of the system CCR has collected and taken back an amount of xxx tons oft the different categories.
The Austrian ERP take back system has successfully started on in 2005. Since the start of the system CCR has collected and taken back an amount of tons oft the different categories.
The start of the ERP take back system for waste of electric and electronic equipment in Poland was planned for July 1st 06 and has been successfully implemented
The start of the ERP take back system in Italy is planned for the end of 2006
