CCR services 400 out of a total of some 6,000 tyre dealers in Germany. CCR disposed of 27,440 metric tons of used tires in 2002, which gives a German market share by weight of 4 per cent. CCR collects any type of used tires, including sorting and delivering to recycling plants or cement manufacturers using old tires as important accessory during production.
