Practible environmental protection begins in ones thoughts, if you believe that protecting the environment does not necessarily mean to contradict administering your business in a profitable way. A sound environmental policy is essential for CCR business. Our system can only succeed by fulfilling legal standards in full compliance with law and the spirit through which it was enacted. Striving to do this, we help ease the impact of industrial practise has on the environment, even if only in the small area we can influence by our actions.
For example, as long ago as 1995, CCR guaranteed, as a signatory to the Bavarian Environment Pact, that its waste disposal system would comply with environmental standard ISO 14001.
Thus we comply with the attention our customers and the general public give to environmentally friendly innovation. For this reason, CCR tries to enhance its environmental achievements, which benefit its customers and prove our continuous search for excellence.
Let us ponder over this: CCR lorries all together drive hundreds of miles every week. As our reverse-logistics system does not own any recycling plants, we are free to decide which to use, disregarding any ideas about the working load of the recycling plant. This means, we do not have to service a factory 600 miles of the route just fo the plain reason it is our recycling plant. Thus, recyclers are included into our system under aspects of short-range and optimising operations.
Our trucks do not drive as often on the streets as they would through less able planning and coordination. They save fuel and cause less abrasion of tire material. Being more seldom on the road means less traffic, less accidents, and less danger for polluting the environment through spill of hazardous goods. This is good for the environment and good for business.
