CCR product life-cycle systems are centred on creating a circular flow economy
Since CCR was established in 1991, the focal point of all CCR services has been precautionary, integrated activity. The recycling concept as an element in CCR corporate policy encourages the company to set up closed material handling cycles wherever possible.
As such, old oil, wheel arch liners, bumpers, antifreeze, hydraulic liquids or starter batteries are collected at the customer' premises and from there on transported to a recycling plant. Shredded and split into basic parts and components, these are recycled to yield secondary materials for wholly or partly incorporation into new production. A consequence of these agreements with customers is that "downcycling" is reduced to a practicable minimum. Which means stopping the impairment of material during the recycling process itself. The customary downward spiral with regard to material quality is avoided. Land-filling or thermal treatment at the end of a product life-cycle are no longer necessary.
CCR is always looking for ways of recycling material in accordance with the uses to which it was originally put. We regard environmentally compatible and commercial aspects as complementary elements in the complete picture. Part of CCR outsourcing policy is to use its services to offer customers additional value in the 'soft' factor area as well, so that they can be employed for image enhancement purposes (e.g. sustainability, environmental protection).
As CCR possesses considerable experience in the field of materials flow management it is convenient for CCR customers to rely on just one partner for full services being offered Europe-wide.
